REFLECTIVE SURFACES
The highly reflecting vega energy specular surfaces are a key component of concentrating solar systems.  They concentrate the solar radiation precisely to achieve extreme energy densites. By using vega energy mirrors with their outstanding  reflecting properties the  performance can be increased significantly  in concentrating parabolic  systems  (CSP) for the generation  of solar  thermal electricity,  or process heat for industrial  applications, air conditioning or sea water  desalination.
High performance material for solar secondary reflectors

Designed to maximize long term output from your fresnel or parabolic based secondary solar thermal system, vega HT and vega TS products represent a further step in Almeco's commitment to developing products for solar energy applications. Using specially developed versions of the vega WR solar reflector product range they offer a combination of high reflectance and temperature resistance to provide maintained performance over the life of the plant.

vega HT product is designed to give maintained reflectance at continuous operating temperatures of up to 250°.

The use of a special protection layer surmounting the high reflectance vega optical layer system greatly reduces degradation of the reflector surface and allows high reflectance to be maintained over the long life of a solar installation.
