Established in 1958, the Elektromag Group of companies pioneered the manufacture of Industrial Magnetic Equipment, Vibrating Equipment ,Mineral Processing Equipment, Crane Controlgear, Machine tool accessories and other industrial products in India.

Elektromag has since developed a strong manufacturing and marketing infrastructure in the industrial sector.It has become a major supplier to most manufacturers of material handling equipment, steel plants, power plants, cement factories, foundries, food and fertiliser plants, iron ore mines, crane manufacturers, glass and abrasives manufacturers, machine tool manufacturers and other related industries.

MILESTONES

Elektromag has been a pioneer in the the field of Industrial Magnets, Vibration Engineering, Crane Controlgear and allied products since 1958. Over the last few decades Elektromag has entered into strategic alliances with technology leaders worldwide to provide state of the art engineered products.

1958 -

Established as Magneto Electricals, in Mumbai, the company pioneers the manufacture of Crane Controlgear, Magnetic Separators and Electromagnetic Feeders in India

1965 -

Starts new Factory in Kandivali, Mumbai
Develops and Manufactures Metal Detectors

1973 -

The company was renamed Elektromag.
Develops and Manufactures Lifting Magnets

1977 -

Builds new factory in Vapi, Gujarat for manufacture of Vibration Equipment and coils for Lifting Magnets and Magnetic Separators

1978 – 1985 -

Signs Technical Collaboration Agreement with AEG, Germany for the manufacture of Vibration Equipment
Signs Technical Collaboration Agreement with Kabelschlepp, Germany for manufacture of Cable Drag Chains and Way Wipers.
Signs Technical Collaboration Agreement with Metool Ltd., UK for manufacture of Cable and Hose Reeling Drums
Signs Technical Collaboration Agreement with EAB-Reinhausen, Germany for manufacture of Metal Detectors

1992 -

Signs Technical Collaboration Agreement with Airbarge Company, U.S.A for manufacture of Air Cushion Mobility systems for export

1996 - 2001

Commences manufacturing Lighting Reflectors & Trading of Reflector materials in association with Ano-Coil Ltd, UK and Metaprint Ltd., UK
Signs exclusive Agency/Distributor agreement with Almeco, Italy for their range of Aluminium Reflector Materials for lighting, decorative and solar industries.
Begins distribution of Metalized Plastic Louvers manufactured by SLP Lighting, U.S.A.

2007 -

Acquires PMS Floor Gratings Pvt. Ltd. at Pune

2009 -

Builds new factory in Pandor, Gujarat
Establishes Joint Venture with Joest, Germany for manufacture of Vibration Equipment and Exciter Drives.

2012

Builds addition facility in Pandor, Gujarat and establishes Joint Venture for manufacture of Metalized Plastic Louvers with S.L.P Lighting U.S.A

2017

Continuous Coil Anodizing Line built with German technology and put into service. Elektromag becomes the only manufacturer of Anodized Aluminium Strips for Electro Magnets in Asia under the brand name "ELEKTROFOL". Hundreds of Magnets with Anodized Aluminium Coil are already sold in India and several other countries worldwide.

2022

An additional factory building of 2200 sq.mtrs. is being built at Pandor in Gujarat to create additional capacity to cater the increasing demand for Elektromag products.
